 Truck & Trailer Back-up Obstacle Detection Sensor SystemThis back-up alert/reverse-sensing system uses the latest ultrasound technology to detect objects that are up to eight (8) feet from the rear of the vehicle. The system uses a unique sensor-scanning algorithm that reads each of four (4) separate sensors, displaying the distance to the one that is closest to an object. This offers the ability to monitor four (4) zones simultaneously across the width of the vehicle. The result is a greater degree of “blind spot” coverage. This kit is designed for vehicles where the backing light power connection is located at the rear of the vehicle, such as Box Trucks, Utility Vehicles, Buses & Delivery Vans. Single Waterproof Cable Installation The waterproof sensors and ECU (Electronic Control Unit) mount easily on the rear of the truck or trailer. The dash mounted Warning Display Unit (WDU) connects to the ECU via a single waterproof cable that installs under the vehicle.
