 RACK MOUNT 1 or 2 FAN COOLING SYSTEMOne of the immediate problems with mounting your equipment in a rack or enclosure is that of proper ventilation. With these Rack Mount Fan Panels, your equipment will stay cool and last longer. The panels come in one or two fan configurations. Each fan comes with a 4 foot 120 volt AC cord for plugging into a terminal strip or for operation only during operation, plug it into the switched AC outlet on an amplifier or computer or an intelligent power center. The fans can be configured by the end user to work in an "intake mode" or an "exhaust mode." For maximum cooling, place one at the bottom of your rack in the intake mode and one at the top in the exhaust mode. For less demanding applications, use one unit at the top or bottom with a vented grill panel at the opposite end. Don't worry about the fans causing too much noise. The single fan panel is rated for 30dBa while the duel model is a whisper quiet 33dBa. Each panel occupies 3 rack spaces and each assembly comes complete with fans and grilles attached to the panel plate. The single fan panel contains the anodized finish, similar to brushed aluminum. The 2-Fan unit has a powered texture coating.
