 5-16 VDC Linear DC Voltage Power Supply Kit5-16 VDC Linear DC Voltage Power Supply Kit This power supply kit is an easy-to-assemble source of 5 to 16 VDC linear DC voltage as is required by small power amplifiers and other compact electronic components. Although basic in design, the circuit will satisfy most electronic kit users' needs, especially beginner projects. Two DC output voltages are available: a fixed regulated 5V for TTL use, and one that is variable from 5V upwards—maximum output voltage itself depending on the input voltage. The regulator's maximum input DC voltage is 16V. The minimum input voltage must be at least 2V higher than the regulated output voltage. All components are through-hole and can be soldered easily to the printed circuit board.
